Why Doggie Day School?

Why is Day School good for dogs? Dogs have traditionally been bred for jobs typically in hunting, livestock herding, protection or guarding. But their main job today is Couch Potato! Unfortunately, boredom and excess energy are two common reasons for behavior problems in pet dogs. Day School can help you meet your dog’s needs for attention, activity and supervision. Attending Day School can also help dogs be friendly when they pass other dogs on the street, make them comfortable around different people and help with separation anxiety. Instead of your dog greeting you at the end of a busy workday with loads of pent-up energy, he’ll be pleasantly tired in the evening and sleep soundly through the night. Requirements Day School

  • Functional Analysis, day school application and vaccine record completed.  
  • Temperament testing ( $25.00 per dog ) We categorize the dogs by the stoplight program. 
  • Dogs must be twelve weeks of age or older and fully vaccinated by their veterinarian 
  • Fecal Exam within last 30 days (for puppies under one year only)
  • Spayed or neutered at 6 months of age - No dog over the age of 6 months will be approved to be part of our doggie day school program without being neutered or spayed, Unless pre-approved by our staff.
  • Dogs must be using a veterinarian-approved topical flea control

Day School and temperament testing is by appointment only and must be scheduled and completed in advance. 

Day School Times & Fees

Drop off       Monday - Friday         Starting at 7:00 a.m.             
Pick up        Monday - Friday         No later than 5:30 p.m.
Cost:            Contact us for our individual and prepaid prices.

An additional $2.00 will be charged per hour after the regular 8 hour time slot up to 10 hours. Any dog staying more than 10 hours will be charged our overnight fee.
